I have big plans for December that will help me not to gain any holiday weight.
1. Run/walk at least 50 miles. I hope to actually get in more miles than that, but with the colder weather coming and my tiny tot, I want to be realistic. There are going to be days it just doesn’t happen.
2. Hit all of my daily strength training sessions. I have divided and simplified my strength training so that I can lift in about 15 minutes a day, because right now that is all have time to do.
3. Stretch daily. Towards the end of my pregnancy it was really uncomfortable and difficult to get a good stretch in, thus I have list some flexibility. It is time to start getting it back. My goal is to spend 5-10 minutes daily, while playing with Thing 4, stretching.
4. Complete the 31 day guns, buns and ab challenge. Each day I am going to complete a certain number of squats and push ups, as well as a holding a plank for a certain amount of time. I’ve done this before and it only takes a few minutes a day to start seeing results.
When I complete all my goals I am going to reward myself. There are a few things I have my eye on. I am hoping that even with the chaos that comes with the holidays and a newborn that I can keep myself motivated. While I may be at my pre pregnancy weight, things are not quiet as toned as they used to be.
