Wow! So I was looking back and realized that it has been over two months since I have posted anything about my weight loss journey. Oops! I guess I have been spending too much time working hard and not enough time blogging.
Well, according to my Wednesday Weigh In I was at 190.3 and super excited about it. Well this morning I weighed in at 184.0, which was about a pound higher than the last week or so, but I had a really yummy dinner Tuesday night. Oh well.
Along with my weight loss, I have lost a total of 9 inches from my body. However, I have also gained a significant amount of muscle, thus the reason the scale doesn’t show a big drop.
My clothes tell me the real story. Shorts that I bought a the beginning of the summer and were a little snug, now fall off a me. I have to wear a belt so that I don’t have any wardrobe malfunctions. My shirts fit better. Running tops that were a little snug are loose. Basically, I can see a difference everywhere.
It is an amazing feeling to finally see results since I have been working to lose weight for years now. I really credit that training that I am putting in for the triathlons. It is forcing me to push myself and use muscles that I just don’t typically use. I have really started to enjoying swimming. I love the all over workout that I get and I like seeing the muscles that I am developing in my arms and back. I just feel stronger overall.
That is a quick catch up of where my weigh loss is. I hope to start being a better blogger and recording my weigh ins each week. We shall see.
