To Tri or Not to Tri

Before I got pregnant with Thing 1 I was training for a sprint triathlon, however, I did not ever complete a triathlon because of my pregnancy.  Lately, I have been riding my bike a little more.  Granted it is with three boys in tow, but I am doing it.  Thus I have been considering training for a triathlon.  Today, for example, I ran 6 miles and biked 6.25 miles.  I think I could so totally do this.

So now I have to decided to tri or not to tri?  There is a triathlon in August that I am looking towards.  My mom even said that she would do it with me, so how am I to turn that down?

Right now I don’t have a real plan with my training.  Honestly I have just been running because it makes me feel better than if I don’t run.  Here is what my week looked like:

Monday: 3 mile run
Tuesday: 3 mile run, 6.5 mile bike ride
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: 3 mile run
Friday: 3 mile run
Saturday: 4 mile run
Sunday: 6 mile run, 6.25 mile bike ride
