{Workouts : Week in Review} 4.8.12

I have finally got back on track with my running.  I ran a little over 17 miles this week, which is a lot more than I have done in the last several months. Here is how it all shook out:

Monday: Nothing
Tuesday: 3.1 miles
Wednesday: 2.15 miles
Thursday: 2.1 miles
Friday: 3,5 miles
Saturday: 3.15 miles
Sunday: 3.15 miles

Besides being excited about seeing my mileage go from zero to 17, I also have felt so much better this week.  I have had more energy and I have been in a better mood.  Why did I ever stop running?

It has been a long road getting back to this point, where I am running again.  I have started and stopped so many times over the last few months.  I had been struggling to find the time and desire to run, but this week has really helped me find that desire again.  The best part is that I feel so much better because of it.

My goal this week is to continue my running and start weight training.  I know I have said a thousand times that I need to weight train, and I just don’t do it.  However, I have an end goal in mind.  I want to have some muscle definition at the beach this summer.
